50% Off 4th Of July Weekend Blowout From Incansoft

If you read my blog regularly, you know I am a big fan of the Incansoft software and I always try to pass on the word whenever Big Mike has a sale. These usually happen 3 or 4 times a year and this weekend happens to be one of the times you can take advantage of a 50% off offer. I earn absolutely nothing off you buying, I just like the products. For the next 4 days Big Mike gives you the opportunity to grab any products in his catalog for 50% off the retail price until midnight Sunday. To get the discount, just visit the catalog page and enter FREEDOM in the text box above the Add To Cart button. As you add each product the discounted pricing will appear in your shopping cart. If you buy anything, get the GFX Video Writer and start taking advantage of the all the video ideas I have been posting about lately. It is newbie friendly and puts out decent video using images. Give it a go and tell Mike I sent you.

I just recently started using video and found Windows Movie maker to be pretty simple. I quickly looked through the sales page for the GFX Video Writer and did not see features that I could not do with Movie Maker. If you've been using GFX for a while then maybe you can tell us about some of the features and why would someone purchase it instead of using Movie Maker which is built into XP for free.

@Ethan If you look back at my post these past few weeks, you will see I suggest Windows Movie Maker as well. If you are using Movie Maker and it fits your needs, by all means you do not need GFX Writer. Some folks need simpler methods, thus GFX. It all depends on your skill set. I use both.

Laugh, I nearly cried, GFX for people who need something simpler!
I bought this cos I like simple, it didn't work. Emailed support who answered pretty quick to be fair. Possibly .NET framework problem they said, update it they said. Two days later I have finally managed to get the updates to stick (?@?** Microsoft!!!) Yay! ready to rock and roll....same problem, Invalid Media Type Selected....something simpler?

@Truckster I never have had a problem with it from day one and have owned and used it for quite a while. Sounds like a conflict with your box of sorts. I would either get a refund or contact their support. The programs works flawless for me.

Yeah, its my box. I was having a rant really, more at Microsoft because of their update quirks. I am not alone in this judging by the number of posts I have ploughed through. Still struggling with GFX but their support is pretty good.

Along the same line, have you used the Videobot? If so what do you think?
