Alex Goad and Mark Dulisse are currently giving away a free Youtube marketing tool called Tube Fool. You can watch the demo video below and I have yet to give it a go as of yet as I want to get past the holiday first. It does look pretty cool and of course you will have to opt in to get it and the course. It may or may not be up your alley, so give it a look and see if it is something you might want to play with. They say new features are coming which I am sure will be where they charge. Unclear at this point.

Future Of Social Media 5 Years Down The Road?
I love social media and have said it time and time again. I get it and have seen the results first hand. Adam Ostrow had a story surface on Mashable a few days back in which he takes a look at the The Next 5 Years in Social Media. Ostrow points out several ideas and the most interesting in his point that people need learn how to leverage the social media giants like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube as opposed to how to build the next mega social network. I certainly agree as these giants are already ingrained into the culture and are not going anywhere. There are still ideas that pop up every day in using the Twitter API and Facebook is as p[popular as it has ever been. If you are not learning to market on it or how to do paid ad placement on it, it is not too late. A great read with several offshoot links as well I suggest clicking and reading.

Stop Ignoring Video & Youtube
I went on a video spree a few weeks back to see what kind of effect a full out video blitz would have on a site. I made quite a few videos using both the Windows Movie Maker and the GFX Video Writer. I concentrated on 3 sites of mine during this blitz and uploaded the videos to several video sites including Youtube. Several people still do not know that in their Youtube Channel profile, you can add a link to your site that is actually dofollow. Now imagine adding 10 niche related videos to each niche specific channel. If you SEO each video submission with keywords, tags and a savvy researched keyword title, you will be amazed at the places it will show up over a short period of time. Several webmasters highly automate sites that post videos daily. WP Robot is a perfect example of this and there are several others that do it honestly as well. Over time, your channel page will gain some authority and be a solid backlink to your niche sites. In addition, depending on how good your videos are, you will get some targeted traffic as well. These videos do not have to be long or anymore than just pictures stitched together with background music or spoken word audio. Be creative, mine sucked at first but got better over time. Start today and stop ignoring video.

Analyze The Super Bowl Commercials & Websites
Today is Super Bowl Sunday in case you did not know. One thing to do after all the commercials have run, is to re watch them online and get yourself some marketing ideas. Also go to the advertisers websites and see if you can pick up any marketing techniques, layouts, SEO or any other aspects to help you in your own business. These will be easy to see on the internet, via Youtube or a quick search on Google. Have fun and GO STEELERS!!!

Wordpress 2.7 Video Tutorials
More and more people who are integrating Wordpress into their BANS stores have often never used Wordpress and are a little overwhelmed with it at first. As I mentioned a few post ago, Youtube is a great source for video tutorials. Below is a link to some.
Wordpress 2.7 Youtube Tutorials
While I have not taken the time to watch each and every one of them, most of them are pretty thorough and you should get the hang of it pretty quick. Make sure to learn the difference between creating a page versus creating post and how to use the categories and the tags. In no time you will see how powerful and effective blogging with Wordpress can be.

Improving Rankings By Using Video
Ever since PubCon, you notice I have been posting more about video and how it will play a big part in not only engagement, but in ranking. I cam across a great article by Chris Crum of WebProNews entitled, How to Use Video to Improve Google Ranking & Conversions. Chris gives some do's and dont's and tips on how to better use video. If you haven't started, you need to get on the bus now. I have seen huge jumps in traffic myself on several sites that I have started making a habit to include videos in post or content pages.

Youtube Is Very Useful For Learning
Youtube is not only good for content on your site, but also a fine source for tutorials on just about anything computer related. I was wanting to learn a new video editing program I downloaded and low and behold there was a great 5 minute video by someone on Youtube. Everything from installing Wordpress to transfering your nameservers to 301 redirects to the new software you just downloaded. There probably is a good tutorial video waiting for you on Youtube. Make sure to sort the results by date added, as this will give you the latest videos related to what you are searching for.

Youtube Videos For The Picking
So many people post so many good videos on Youtube, but do not know proper SEO and tagging in order to get them seen. It is not uncommon to be able to take a video related to your niche, tell a short story or recap of it with a blog post or BANS content page and properly SEO the meta tags and get it out rank the original video. Often times finding them related to your niche is tough enough as the original person who posted it has failed at MAKING it easy to find. Be creative in your searches on Youtube and you will find some nuggets on there. watch the video and do some keyword research about the content of the video. It is like pulling low hanging fruit right off of the vine. Very easy to rank quickly, especially with Wordpress blog post.
