Found A Great Wordpress Template In My Spam

I love getting spam mail. Unfortunately I do not get time to go through it all but will sift through it every now and again to see if I missed anything worth value. Today I came across this great free theme and Wordpress plugin from Matts Marketing Blog. The plugin is a simply ad management plugin, nothing fancy. The Theme is great for niche sites and is very easy to customize. You can watch the video below that shows you how to go about using the theme. Great spam and I will be making use of this theme soon myself. Always sift through your spam, you never know what good junk might be in there.

Fresh Blogger Template Designs

A few of you still may utilize blogger as a main blog or a feeder site and I came across a Mashable post I bookmarked that features 10 fresh blogger templates for any type application. Although EPN frowns on you using Blogger with their affiliate program, Amazon endorses it. I hate to see people not be able to make money because they are technically challenged by Wordpress, hosting or are just flat out broke. If you are any of these, you should start with Blogger. These templates are easy to use, the platform is easy to use and there are tons of free videos on using the platform out there. You can indeed build a review type site very easily using Amazon or many of the other affiliate programs out there. It is true you do not actually own the site, you can easily back it up and buy a domain to forward to it. If for some unknown reason you delete the site or Blogger takes it from you, you still have the domain you can point elsewhere. Enough about that. Where there is a will, there is a way and these Blogger templates look like they will do the trick for you.

Free Arras Magazine Wordpress Theme

I like to pass along good clean Wordpress themes I find and found one last night that happens to be a magazine type Wordpress theme as well. The name of the theme is Arras and this theme comes in brown, blue, green, red, orange, violet and legacy. It features top and main navigation with full menus support. Also it offers custom post types and taxonomies support which means multiple selection of categories. It has an improved thumbnail system and a few theme options you can customize. The thing I like about it is how clean and simple it is and it's ease of use. You may not need it now, but be sure to bookmark it and give it a try down the road.

Another Clean Wordpress Theme - Gridline Lite

Some of you seem to like these free, clean Wordpress themes I run across and today's offering is a great find as well. The theme is called Gridline Lite and I really like it. I am currently rebuilding an old BANS site with it as well. Gridline Lite is a free minimalist theme for Wordpress 2.8 and up with full sidebar and bottombar widget support that utilizes a CSS framework to help streamline development and customization. You can easily add a logo image at the top in place of the blog title and this theme can easily be turned into a different color with a few minor color code changes in the CSS file. If you are real adventurous, you can eliminate the bottom 3 widgets above the footer for a truer ecommerce site feel. That is what I did with my rebuild as I had no use for those widgets at the bottiom. This is a great theme, hopeful;ly you find it useful. Happy Friday, everyone.

EDITED TO ADD: Yes, I forgot to add you need to sign up for free to get this template. It is painless I assure you. Thanks to Earl for catching that.

Clean Dateless Wordpress Theme

A reader emailed me asking if I knew of a clean Wordpress theme that had a small header image that was easy to change out along with the theme being easy to customize. I went through my 1000's of bookmarks and uncovered one that I had forgot about. The theme is called Dateless Mini-Site WordPress Themes and it is free to download. The header image is 780x80 pixels and it comes stock in 7 colors and if they do not meet your color needs the colors are easily changed in the css via the # hex numbers, as they are not images. Everything should be super simple for you to modify. This is a no frills template, but very pliable and easy to adapt to ANY niche. Make sure to bookmark this one for later use.

Another Clean Wordpress Template

I always am on the lookout for clean Wordpress templates with a ton of white space. They seem to perform well for me. I recently found this template from Midmo Designs. You might recognize it from the demo used in the CJ Niche Store plugin I have talked about recently. I like the cleanliness of it and thought I would pass it on to my readers.

Post 150 & A Blog Facelift

Well it is hard to believe I have 150 post on this blog now. Admittedly I am not the worlds greatest blogger, but feel I have gotten a tons better. it also has helped keep me regimented with several other things as well. I felt is was time to give it a cleaner look at found this template at E Blog Templates. I really like the layout and feel of it and it hardly looks like a blogspot blog anymore. I have also added a widget that post related post at the bottom of each individual blog post. This now ensures post are deep linked and should help this blog do even better in the SERPS. I am a fan of Wordpress, but Blogspot has always intrigued me. If you are not too comfortable with Wordpress yourself and need a blog, I highly suggest starting with Blogspot, which is owned by Google. This blog does not produce glorious amounts of income, but it has started to pick up a little and every month seems to be better than the last. Thank you to all of my loyal readers as well. I hope you enjoy the journey thus far and there is plenty more coming. I make notes everyday on things I want to cover on this blog concerning Build A Niche Store and also some other easy ways to make money online. Let me know how you like the new look, even if you hate it. LOL.

Also I am going to start taking email questions and posting them on the blog, either every Friday or every other Friday depending on the volume sent. They will be posted anonymously, so do not worry about being embarrassed. You can send all questions to the email address below:

Using Free Servers To Build Doorway Pages

If you have been thinking about building some doorway pages to funnel some traffic to your Build A Niche Stores, you might want to consider using Free Servers. You can throw up a 3 or 4 page html website in a hurry and fill it with articles related to your niche from ezinearticles or goarticles. Then you can link keywords in the articles to your BANS store pages. I have been using freeservers.com for quite a while. The only drawback is that they flash ads on your site, but I am only after a little traffic and another backlink or backlinks to my stores. You can submit these to social bookmarking sites so they get indexed. There are tons of free templates out there even some to download in your cpanel of hostgator. I wouldn't spend too much time perfecting them, but even a plain jane looking site can throw a few visitors your way. Also if it doesn't look too spammy you can submit it off to DMOZ and hope it makes it in the directory.
