Build Your Own Widget
Widgets are an excellent freebie to give away to promote your website. In general, widgets are mini, portable-applications that can be added to any web page and serve two important goals. The first being to add dynamic content to your site and the second being to reach new users across the web. Widgets can consist of games, pictures, rss feeds, videos and the list goes on and on. You offer a widget in hopes that others will use it on their site and provide a backlink and a source of traffic. Widgetbox offers are free service to get your feet wet in widget building.
