Another quick fact I came across is that the usage of the web browser Internet Explorer 6 (IE6) in the US and Europe fell below the 5% mark for the first time in May. Good riddance to that piece of crap. Worst browser version ever made in my opinion.

StatCounter Global Stats Report & IE6 Users Declining
Happy Friday everyone. I ran across the StatCounter Global Stats Report the other day and was floored at the amount of traffic that Facebook, StumbleUpon and Twitter send to websites that use StatCounter on their sites. I knew the three were growing, but the Facebook numbers are astounding. Hopefully you are embracing social media as it is here to stay. You can play with the sorting of statistics in 9 different categories and also by country/region and date. A good little bookmark to have as a quick glance.

I will admit that IE6 was crappy, but have you tried to use IE8??? What a piece of junk!!! Slow, clunky resource hog and crashes all the time.
