If Building Niche Sites Was Your Job, Would You Be Fired?
Pretty profound question, but one you should ask yourself on a daily basis. Like it or not, this is work, hard work. If you do not work at it and treat it like you own it, you will not be rewarded. The best thing about niche site building is the fact that you can can give yourself a raise every day. You have complete control of your actions. You set your own schedule and answer to yourself. If you treat it like a hobby or a sideline business, you will be paid accordingly. It is very very easy to catch paralysis by analysis in this business and your production will grind to a standstill. Do not be that person. As you go into this weekend, make the decision to treat your sites like a business, a fortune 500 company that you run, where millions of people are affected with every move you make and every task you undertake. To succeed in niche site building, you need to be striving to be the authority on your niche. SEO, link building and promotion can all be learned over time. Your authority will speak louder than you can even imagine. Tons of people make a ton of money on the web and get tons of natural traffic because they have great sites, not because they are the master at SEO or link building.

My Wife Loves The Moonlight
I have been heavily involved with the internet for a long long time. Even before I started being a webmaster, I was enthralled with it for information. My wife on the other hand could always take or leave the internet or computers in general. That was until this year. She has been captivated by a TV show called Moonlight. Evidently it is now a canceled show, but has a huge cult following. She has found the usefulness of Youtube, forums and blogs to stimulate her obsession with this show. She never post to any of the sites, but does read everything she can get her hands on. Oh and she buys too. UPS shows up almost daily at my house and most stuff she buys through an affiliate link I provide her if I have one available or can find one quickly. The other day a DVD box set of the Moonlight series found it's way into the house. I asked her where she bought it from and she said some Moonlight blog. well I tracked down the culprit, here is that Moonlight blog. Just a plain old blogger blog, but good enough to get my money. Now obviously this blog could be monetized a bit better, but it made some money.
The lesson I am trying to get across here is that whatever your main obsession is, you should capitalize on it. We all have something or somethings that we are very knowledgeable and passionate about and that knowledge and passion of the same thing you share with others. No matter how good or bad you are at building sites, doing SEO or building backlinks, you owe it to your self and others to share that same passion. Your passion will get you by and earn you a little money while you learn the other aspects of making the site better and more optimized. Even if you have to use a free blogger platform like blogger to start with, it still has the ability to earn money, even money from my household.

Susan Boyle Should Inspire All Of You
I kept wondering who was Susan Boyle and what all the buzz was about. I do not watch much TV, especially not any of the reality TV shows, but I kept getting the link to the Youtube video in my email so I finally watched it. It goes to show that there is something special in each and every one of us and if you set your mind at something you can achieve it or get closer to it with more and more work. From newbie to veteran niche site builder, we all have higher levels we can achieve if we only apply ourselves more. If you are struggling in this business, you should use the Susan Boyle video as a pump you up rallying cry. Keep learning and applying yourself towards your goal and your income and success will rise. I tip my hat to the Susan Boyle's all over the world, keep your head up and keep pushing onward. Do not let anything stand in between you and your dream.

How Urgent Is Your Urgency?
I treat every day to the best of my ability as day one. I never like to take my foot off the gas pedal. If some one told you that you had 120 days to get your site or sites to produce a $300.00 month income or else you would be imprisoned for the rest of your life, I bet your urgency level would be through the roof. Sure it is an unreal scenario, but the urgency level is believable. Everything can be learned, from SEO, article writing, backlink building and promotion. Many of you reading this blog, know the basics, your urgency level though, is no where close to where it needs to be. Many just do not have the faith that increasing the urgency level will pay off. There are no secret success formulas in this business. Just hard, solid, consistent work along with a few basics which are taught here and thousands of other free blogs on the internet. Increase your urgency to learn these things and start putting them to use and the income will follow.

Paralysis By Analysis
Ah, the search for the golden Google secret or the ONE deep dark secret no one ever mentions on gaining true success on the web. We all have done it, especially as newbies. The truth is, and I mean this seriously, the secret is just doing the work. Often times new BANS users are thwarted by using all their time searching for a secret, when in fact they sit on it. Paralysis By Analysis is the worst disease known to webmasters. They spend all day and night over analyzing everything, instead of adding a new paragraph of content or blog post. The truth is, you can learn proper SEO over time. Adding unique content or blog post weekly will crush everything. You can take a gray, out of the box, BANS store and add content to it daily and succeed. Everyone has different time schedules to dedicate to their niche store creations. I highly suggest researching and learning proper SEO, backlinking and Web 2.0 development, but do not let it consume you to the point that nothing is getting done on site. Niche store development is growing at a very fast rate, not just with BANS, but other affiliate store platforms as well. The only way to set yourself apart is by doing what many others fail to do, writing content. ANYONE can build a store, but not everyone can build a portal. Manage your time to learn all the little things that go along with web site creation, but never lose sight of actually working on the site itself. Do not be paralyzed by analyzing too much.

Sticktoitiveness: An Interview With Suzanne Franco
I remember back to earlier this year when a new poster joined the BANS forum by the screen name wahmsuzanne. Well that person ended up being Suzanne Franco. Suzanne always has asked great questions and ends every post with *SmiLes*! How could you not help her? I have seen her go through a few ups and downs, but one thing is for sure, Suzanne has Sticktoitiveness. Some people have it, some do not. She should serve as an example and inspiration to every newbie out there. Suzanne is now starting to see some good money on a regular basis and also has started blogging about her experiences on her blog Money Making Ideas. I thought it would be fun to interview her for my blog as I have always enjoyed helping her and conversing with her. Jump over and read her blog daily. So here we go. 10 questions with Suzanne. Thanks a bunch for taking time to answer these.
1. Who is Suzanne Franco?
I am a single mom to three amazing kids. They are the reason I work so hard to make money from home … I don’t want to miss a single thing in their lives. I was born and raised in Southern California and we relocated to the Texas Hill Country about 7 years ago. I enjoy playing tennis (I’ve played since I could walk LOL) and anything in or on the water … boating, wakeboarding, swimming, floating (it’s a Texas thing), the river and the beach.
2. What web background or knowledge did you have prior to finding BANS?
I’d say prior to finding BANS (in February) I had some decent experience with SEO and web promoting but I was (and still am) lacking some technical skills. I had a hard time understanding ftp, permissions, troubleshooting any type of error, with adding or changing themes, etc. Not only did I not understand any of this … it would stress me out completely I would become somewhat paralyzed. I would sometimes be afraid to do anything program related to my sites because I feared that something would go wrong.
I think (hope) I’m over the anxiety of dealing with some of the technical things that are involved with setting up and customizing my BANS stores. I’ve finally realized that I haven’t completely destroyed any of my sites so far and if something does go wrong … I can always ask for help. In fact, thanks again for all of the help you’ve personally given me with my BANS business and with the templates I purchased.
3. What led you to the BANS software?
I read about it on the Wealthy Affiliate forum.
4. What was the hardest part you found getting a BANS store going?
This hasn’t really been a huge problem for me because I enjoy the type of work involved: SEO, writing, building backlinks, involvement on forums, classified ads, Squidoo lenses, etc.
I have one store that is huge (over 450 pages – too big for my taste BTW) and I’ve had the most trouble getting that one going. It indexed right away and then went down to zero pages … and then to one page. Slowly the pages showed back up in Google but I’ve never been able to get the search traffic that I seem to get from my other stores. I feel I’ve done a good job with the SEO but I don’t focus on the promotion work like I should.
5. When did you know that BANS really works?
Truthfully ~ Not until about July or August (about 5-6 months after I started). I started getting steady traffic and went from a couple hundred dollars in profit to over $500. Then in September I exceeded my goal of $800 … bringing in $822.
6. What was your lowest point in your early stages with BANS?
Well, within a 1-2 month period of my getting started eBay (and BANS) went through a lot of changes. The CJ program was dissolved and eBay moved operations in-house, we had a BANS version upgrade, several eBay category changes, PepperJam arrived on the scene, and the BANS site and forum went through a complete overhaul.
This might not have been a problem for someone with a lot of programming experience but for someone like me who is not very techie it was completely overwhelming. I had all kinds of problems completing the upgrades on my stores and I guess I felt silly showing up to the forums all flustered and upset so I tried to fix the errors myself. This was not very smart. There are a lot of very nice and helpful people on the BANS forums and I eventually swallowed my pride and got some help.
What I didn’t know at the time was that most all of the problems I’d had were due to crummy web hosting. When I would ftp the files over … not everything would transfer resulting in missing files. I actually just about quit (you probably remember that “post” LOL) and I’m so glad I stuck with it (and got new hosting!).
7. Have you done any Wordpress BANS integrations and if so how are they doing?
Yes. I’ve done two new stores using your WP on root theme and I just love it! These stores both indexed immediately and are doing very well in the search engines.
I feel so much better about having the blog on the front end and then having the store integrated. We all know that Google loves WordPress blogs and for me this just reconfirms that. The blog format also encourages me to update the content on a more regular basis. There was also a recent decision by eZine Articles to reject articles that link to a page with auction links. I’ve seen several BANS folks reporting success submitting the blog pages attached to their BANS stores.
The other thing that’s great is that I can do a blog post on something related to my niche that I wouldn’t have necessarily created a whole store page for. An example of this would be I did a blog post on some Halloween jewelry on my niche jewelry site. I wouldn’t have added a store page for those items but instead I was able to use eBay tools/widgets to add some auction links in my blog post.
8. Do you remember the moment when the light came on for you about niche site building?
I think the light came on for me the very minute I saw the traffic in analytics and the clicks and bids in my eBay stats. LOL
9. What single thing would you tell every newbie or person who is struggling in the early stage of niche store building?
Well, this is not a get-rich-quick business and the longer you stick with it the more successful you will be. I personally believe in doing a very thorough job on each and every store … as opposed to busting out dozens of stores that don’t produce.
Learn all you can about keyword research and about SEO and put a lot of thought into each and every page of your store. For me … I prefer quality over quantity for sure.
10. Where do you see yourself one year from today?
I hope to continue building up my portfolio of BANS stores. I think I’m comfortable putting up a new store every couple of months. I have 5 stores now so I’d like to have about a dozen or so successful stores by then.
I am also starting to realize the importance of diversifying my online income streams. I would like my BANS business to be one of several ways that I make money online. I’m going to continue with my other existing businesses, I will continue to add quality content to my blog, I will learn as much as I can about affiliate marketing, I will continue with (and grow) my GPT (get paid to) income, and I’d also like to learn about building some PopShop sites. I think it’s important that we don’t put all of our eggs in one basket.
One year from now I’d like to be making a full-time income online (at least $60,000) … and I hope to still enjoy what I do for a living.

Luck Is A Dividend Of Sweat
The great, late, McDonalds guru, Ray Kroc, was once quoted saying:
"Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more you sweat, the luckier you get."
Never have truer words been spoken in relation to successful niche store and site building. The more you put into it, the more you will reap. You will make your share of mistakes, I know I surely have in the past in building stores the wrong way. You MUST keep at it and keep learning the little dos and don't s along the way. It is all a process, from your very first store on. Do not expect to just build a site without any content and it reward you. You have to put in the extra work. Do extensive keyword research, fatten up that site with content and keep a rigid backlinking program going.
I am often asked by private message and email if a regular BANS site can produce a healthy income. The answer is yes, depending on the niche of course. You do not have to have Wordpress integrated in or even have a blog attached as long as you are adding content. Does Wordpress integration help? Absolutely, but consider it a tool like everything else. I like to say that integrating Wordpress with BANS is like adding a huge souped up 351 Cleveland engine into a 1969 Mustang Mach I that came with a Windsor engine. There was nothing wrong with Windsor engine and the car still ran great, but NOW it runs and sounds much better and is even faster.
The point you need to get across in your head is that it does work either way, but it takes sweat, patience and some trial and error. Keep on sweating and the luck will follow along with the earnings.

15 Years With The Same Business Partner
Today I celebrate being married to my business partner for 15 years. Not only is my wife my wife but she is my business partner as well. Although she does not build websites, write articles or acquire backlinks, she is very important in my business. My wife has an extensive financial background from her time in the banking industry and handles my company books and banking. All I have to concern myself with is the day to day operations of our online endevours, real estate and investments.
We lived together for almost 7 years before getting married, so in truth we have been together almost 22 years. We revaluate goals yearly and very rarely miss hitting our goals. It is truly a blessing to be in a position where both of us are always at home and have the flexibility to drop anything we are doing to take care of anything that might pop up unexpectedly.
We went to lunch today out at the beach and discussed how great things are and talked about where we are going next and some of the great ideas I have been working on. No matter how crazy some of my ideas are, she is always supportive and a great sounding board day to day. She is not over the top in spending money and we are completely debt free except for our mortgage which is very close to being paid off.
I can't emphasize enough how important it is if you have a spouse or a loved one be on the same page as you are. It makes it that more easier in day to day operations and trials and tribulations every business goes through.
So today I celebrate and am thankful for having the best business partner in the world and the best wife in the world. I tryuly am a lucky man.

When Passion Meets Niche Store Building
As I was bumping around in the Build A Niche Store forum on Tuesday, I came across a user that does not post too much but did offer up a link to one of his stores. The user screen name is Largemouth Herald and to no surprise his site is Florida Bass Fishing. What is so refreshing is the fact that you can tell Herald is totally passionate about bass fishing and it shows in his site. He also ranks great for his target keyword and I am sure he gets his share of organic traffic as well. Also his fishing gear store is not front and center, and is using an early early version of BANS. This is a perfect example of taking something you are very knowledgeable about and turning it into an income producing outlet. A lot of niche store builders can really learn a lesson from his site. The only thing I would offer up to Harold is to in the near future considering re wrapping the whole site into a new Wordpress BANS type site that will enable him to perhaps manage the site better, but if it is doing fine right now, there is no sense in fixing that which is not broken. I'd like to thank Harold for giving me the opportunity to use his site as an example of passionate niche store building.

Periods Of Intensity
I plan on having a bit of fun with the Friday post, so I had a note to post another nugget today that I read last night. In the welcome back thread on the BANS forum that I started yesterday, Kelvin made an interesting statement that I really related to.
This is so me and it needs to be so you as well. I get so absorbed in stores, projects, scripts and templates that it absorbs me and I love it. I often times forget to eat and use the bathroom as well. LOL. You really need to make niche store building your passion and need to make sure you set aside as many "Periods of Intensity" that you can. You need to eat, drink, sleep your online success. Always and I mean always be doing something and moving forward. Break your routine of nothingness and start and finish a new or existing project.
I'm thinking of getting that phrase tattooed on me. If only I could get my wife to let me have another one.
I prefer periods of intensity...it's the drone of routine that I can't stand!

Don't Put Off Things Today That Should Of Been Done Yesterday
Getting little things done daily in Niche Store building is very very important in your long term success. Now I do understand that not everyone is on a level playing field concerning time they can dedicate to their stores, but every little thing counts. Remember that everyday your business is either moving forwards or backwards. Their is no such thing as a business just standing still. Either you do small task today to inch forward or you do absolutely nothing and make a giant leap backwards.
Some small task that can be accomplished daily are submitting to link directories, adding social bookmarks, writing a small original article, sending out emails to like sites requesting link trades and even better optimizing some neglected meta tags. Do not fall in the rut of doing nothing as it is much harder to climb out of that rut and getting back into some sort of routine. Success in niche store building depends on hard work. Even if you are not 100% sure that you are doing things the right way, at least you are doing something and can learn if indeed it is right or wrong.
Life moves pretty fast and time is a precious commodity. what you do today is very important as is what you do tomorrow. Very few people succeed in online money making because they fail to do the work. They do just enough and then stare at the stats pages and wait for the money to roll in. If you have made any money whatsoever thus far, you see that EPN and BANS does work and it is now up to you to make it work better and refine the process.
Make a conscience effort right now to do something everyday and you will plant seeds for future success. At the end of every day ask yourself this question: Did my business move forward today or did it go backwards? Hopefully you will say it moved forward.

Phooey On The Summer Slow Down
It is that time of year again when the chicken littles of the niche store building process come out and spread the notion of Summer slow down. Let me first say that if you were tied to just one niche or one brick and mortar store, your niche could be affected. When you throw BANS into the mix, there is no reason to moan. You are not limited to anything except your own imagination. The truth is people continue to buy and sell things on eBay everyday. If they are buying, then you need to find what they are buying and put that item in front of them. You have an endless inventory of products right at your fingertips and a proven platform named eBay handling everything. My numbers in June broke all my previous monthly records and I only added one new store during that month as I was busy going back to neglected stores that needed attention. If you are blaming a season on not making any money, then you need a check up from the neck up. People still buy during the Summer and some niches even get better than normal, it is up to you to find those niches and get them in front of people. A very under utilized tool is the Terapeak service. this is one of the best paid services a Build A Niche Store user can have. Now go find those hot niches before Fall comes as I hear a Fall slow down is also on the way followed by a Winter slow down.

A Shopping Trip Could Do You Good
Just arrived back from the Foley Outlet Center for a trip out shopping with my wife and it was very rewarding on several levels. Now i am not one who likes to make a habit of going and watch my wife spend a ton of money, but it did give me a chance to explore a few niches and look at some marketing ads up close. Also it got me away from the computer for a little while as well. I am not burned out by no means, but do feel a bit refreshed getting away for the morning. I am a few dollars lighter in the bank account, but all is good. You should get in the habit every now and again to see what is out there first hand. I had my notebook in the truck and jotted down a few ideas for future Build A Niche Stores. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Keeping Your Goals & List In Front Of You
The picture I posted serves as my desktop background and is also framed on my desk. Why? Because I want to keep my destination in front of me at all times and that what motivates me. My wife and I love Las Vegas. We go once or twice a year and will move out there soon. It is important to keep your goals and list of things to accomplish in front of you at all times, because it works wonders on your subconciuos. Whatever your hot button is, you need to find it and put it in front of you as many times a day as possible. Keeping a list of items needing to be acconmplished should be treated this way as well. I keep a long term and short term list by my side at all times and I scratch them off as they get done and add new task as they come to mind. This will really work on for you on getting more things done if you just give it a chance. Have a great weekend and...Las Vegas, I Am On My Way Soon!!!!!

How Many Stores Will It Take?
This question I get a ton via email or private message. The answer is unpossible to answer. In reality if you have 10 complete Build A Niche Stores full of unique content and all ranking good in the search engines and receiving 50-100 unique surfers a day, you will be making some great money.About 20% of my stores produce 80% of my income. Actually it is 25% of my stores that produde 80% of my income (i just looked it up). That does not mean the other 75% do not produce income, just not the bulk of it. I am currently going back through each store now and making well needed changes and adding quality backlinks. In reality your goal should be to get 10 solid stores up and ranking. Then get 100% of your stores producing 100% of your income. Do not worry about others getting into or stealing your niche. If you outwork them you have nothing to worry about. Build quality sites around a great niche and build backlinks. Cream rises to the top.

10 Mistakes Most Newbies Make
Happy Friday, everyone! Today we will cover what I consider to be the most important mistakes new Build A Niche Store builders make.
1. Directions - They do not read the manual thoroughly. There is a ton of things and common questions answered right on your own hard drive. I bet not many of you have even printed it out. Print it and keep it next to you as quick reference.
2. Hosting - Most new users ignore the fact that Hostgator is the suggested host for BANS. They suggest this for a reason. Many go through Godaddy and some other budget hosting companies only to discover problems or much worse down time. Once you have a better grasp of everything, then you can mess with different host.
3. Niche Research - Most do not know how to do it or what they are even looking to do. All they know is they want an xBox or iPod store and that is all they know. Dig around in the blog or the BANS forums. There is tons of info on researching niches.
4. Broad Stores - Even if you have researched your niche, most set up too broad of stores. There is no reason to have 100 pages if you are just starting out. Going back and optimizing the 100 pages for a newbie almost always takes the wind right out of their sail. Start small and narrow as it is easy to add to later and you will not feel so overwhelmed.
5. Default Meta Tags - Just because it is set up out of the box that way, does not mean that is the way it is meant to stay. I just posted yesterday on meta tags and I suggest you apply it too EVERY store and content page.
6. Default Store Navigation Text - See #5 on this as well. If at all possibly, rename the page anchor text to better accommodate your store.
7. No Unique Content - If you hate writing or do not have the money or resources to add ORIGINAL UNIQUE CONTENT, you better learn to like it or have a rich uncle. This is probably the most ignored tip I give. Spinning articles or Wiki pages is not the same either. Make you store the authority on what it sells and you will reap the benefits.
8. No Daily Plan - If you have no plan to succeed daily or weekly at different task, you have then planned to fail. If you only have 1 hour a week to dedicate to your site, you better know ahead of time what you are going to do with that hour.
9. Poor SEO/Traffic Generation - You can have the fanciest well designed website on the web with great graphics and headers, but if it is not optimized well and gets very little traffic it will not succeed. Too many people worry about building a web masterpiece for the eyes instead of focusing on SEO, traffic generation and link building. Pretty websites with no traffic only end up getting seen by you.
10. You Quit - I hate to tell you this, but if you mark this date a year from now on the calender. I am willing to bet only 2 or 3 of every 10 that read this blog will still be active. It is the facts. Most of you will blame BANS, EPN, me or something else for you quiting as well. Affiliate Marketing has a steep, steep learning curve. Once you get past that curve and the light comes on, it all slowly starts falling into place. When you do quit, please sell or give the stores to someone who will use them.

Staring An Old Non Producing Store In The Eyes
I've done it before and you do it too. You know you do. Yes you, admit it. You have a couple of build a niche stores that produce every now and again. You know deep done that it is a good niche, but you do not know why it is not ranking or getting much traffic. Stop looking at it and revamp it.
Ask yourself these questions.
1. Is each page optimized around a different keyword or keyword phrase.
http://www.instantposition.com/seotest.php
If you score less than 37 you need to change some things via the tool suggestions. Check each page. Especially the front page of you store.
2. Does the front page of your store have at least 100-350 words of keyword driven text on it? The more food on the front page the more words you might get organic searches for.
3. Are any pages blank, broken or showing no products? Fix them or delete them.
4. Do you have any keyword driven content pages on site? Something other than store pages?
5. Are you using any content that was copied verbatim from somewhere else? If it ain't original you likely will not rank good for it.
6. Is your site completely indexed? site:yourdomain.com in Google should yield all of your pages, if not you need to submit those pages to some social bookmarking sites.
7. Are you using default category/page names and default title/description tags? Google wants you to be unique, not eBay Jr.
All of these things listed above can turn around a bland none producing store. Why spend more money on a domain or store when you cant build one the right way? Learn on your existing stores how to do it right and then go on to your next store. Sitting there watching your old store collect dust and logging into EPN 15 times a day does not work.
So YOU, yes YOU.!!!! Go fix that damn store the right way.

I realize that not everyone has the luxury to spend countless hours working on their Build A Niche Stores like I do. Let me also say that it did not happen over night for me to get in the position to do it either. I spent many late nights and sacrificing sleeping, eating and recreation hours to get there. It is important to use what time you do have very efficiently and those sessions can provide fantastic results in 3 month intervals. Now I know good and well everyone of you has 90 minutes a day you can devote to your BANS stores. If you do not have 90 minutes you need to reevaluate your lifestyle. Now lets look at how those 90 minutes should be spent.
1. Before even getting started everyday make sure you block out all distractions and are ready to work and have your game face on. Get yourself geared up to knock out your work. Turn the phone, TV, spouse and kids off (they do all have switches, don't they?).
2. First 20 minutes can see you submitting at least one page from one of your stores to all of the popular web 2.0 social bookmark websites (digg, propeller, stumbleupon etc) using the free socialmarker tool. You should have your usernames and passwords all ready to go. This is very easy to do and will get you off to a productive start.
3. Next 30 minutes should be used to submit to at least 20-25 free directory sites. Using the firefox trick mentioned here and one of the many list of free directories you can submit to. You will get this down to a science if you can not afford the directory submission services. Imagine doing 25 a day for 8 days, thats a cool 200 submissions. This should get your mind in full gear.
4. Next 30 minutes should be devoted to writing content of some sorts. Whether it be for your own site or an article directory submission. Open up notepad and start typing. 350 words goes by quick. Trust me, just open up notepad and start typing the who, what, when, where, why and how. You are not handing it in to a teacher and the more you do the easier it gets.
5. Next 10 minutes can be used to either post that new piece of content to your store or submit it to the top 2 article directories (ezinearticles & goarticles).
Now I know that is a broad brush stroke, but if you are getting these task done daily, you will see results. Not today, not tomorrow, but in 3 month increments. These are very important task and should be done at least 4 days a week. You can set up another 90 minute schedule for things to do on the other 3 days, such as building another store or making SEO edits to your existing stores. Do not let time management be your downfall or your excuse.

You need to ask yourself before going any further what your attitude is towards Build A Niche Store and niche store building. Are you in business or are you just dabbling in it? If you are truly dedicated to the process then you need to start treating your BANS stores like a business and get out of the shoe string budget attitude. If you are treating BANS like a $97.00 script then read no further.
If you have decided that you are treating your BANS projects like a business, you need to budget in cost and tools for success of each store. Now not all tools are needed and most are free, but many save you tons of time going forward. I only promote tools and services here that I use and stand behind. Many you will never see as if it is junk, no need for me to suggest it to you. Free or not. I buy my share of products, but can usually can tell real quick if I need it or not.
Lets look at cost associated with each store.
1. BANS script - $97.00 - Hopefully you have already bought this as it is the basis for everything we do here. The more stores you build, the more value you get out of it.
2. Domain name - $7.15 - I use Godaddy as it is friendly and I have yet to run in to any problems with them. You can figure on spending this amount on every new store you build, so budget it in.
3. Hosting - $110.00 - for year with Hostgator for unlimited domains and reliable service. The more stores you build, the more value you get out of it.
4. Directory Submissions - $15.00 per store. The Package is designed to submit your site to 100 High PR Directories and your choice of ten unique anchor titles & ten unique descriptions. This is not mandatory, but a huge time saver and well worth the money.
5. Wordtracker Subscription - $329.00 a year and well damn worth it as one great niche found can easily earn it back in one month. This is not mandatory, but will play a great role in your success at uncovering niches.
6. USFreeAds Gold membership - $10.00 a year. Not mandatory, but a well written ad will bring in traffic via Google. You do not get backlink love, but if you can write at least a targeted ad or two a week it will produce.
7. Other tools - $300.00 - Some good tools come down the line all of the time and it is good to budget this in as a yearly cost.
The total is $868.15 for one store. I know you are thinking that is alot, but after the initial cost the only thing you will need to buy is more domains a directory submissions for each if you so decide. Being how domains are so cheap, at the very least you should be able to build 20 stores in 4 months. 20 stores when targeted and promoted correctly will bring back that investment in no time flat. So less than $1000.00 and the best opportunity to earn a residual income forever. Working from home in your own spare time.
Get serious about this thing and it WILL produce.
